Halloween

It's that time of year again, my fave time of year, Halloween! On Friday I went to stay with some friends of friends in North Wales and we went to a Halloween gig. It was an awesome night, we all dressed up and got a bit drunk and ended up being stuck at the venue in the middle of nowhere as the taxi didn't turn up. When we finally made it back me and my boyfriend had a little problem with the blow up bed...the pump stopped working when it was half blown up. It was a hilarious experience getting on the bed, he got on it making my side go up in the air so it was rather difficult for me to get on....as I was a little drunk at the time I found it funnier than it probably was and just could not stop laughing!!

My boyfriend isn't one for dressing up but we decided to go as the Corpse Bride & Groom. I love dressing up!!

Last night we also ended up going out at our local pub and I decided on a different costume. I love Day Of The Dead make up, its so awesome and creative. This time I'm kind of a Day Of The Dead Bride I guess!

What did you all dress up as? Technically it's not Halloween til tomorrow but I think most people have been out this weekend.

In other news, I now have a MacBook Pro!! I'm so happy to finally have one, I had to many problems with my old laptop, it's nice to have a shiny, new, amazing one!!

Hope you all have/had a fun Halloween, I'll be back with an outfit post soon, I have been doing a bit of online shopping this week so I have a few new items to showcase!

Lotsa love xoxox

Parka

I got this parka as an early birthday present from my mum and dad. I've fancied one for a while but because I'm short I thought it would make me look really young but I tried this one on and thought it looked pretty awesome. I do need to wear it with heels though! I've got lovely cream fur inside so will keep me warm on the colder days. It was a gorgeous day yesterday so I got my mum to take a few pics on the park at the back of our house. It's a lovely park!

I thought I'd show you my new tattoo before I forget! I got it done 5 weeks ago and I love it and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would!

Thanks to my new followers as well, I hope you enjoy my blog!! I will be checking yours out soon!

Aztec Cardigan

Cardigan : Debenhams
Jeans : Primark
Hat : Ebay
Shoes : H&M

I got this cardigan in the summer, as soon as I saw it I knew I needed it in my life! It was £22 in the Debenhams sale. I think it's from the older section but who cares, it looks good and it's VERY warm! The only thing I don't like about it is the waterfall bit at the front, makes me look a little short (I am short by the way so thats probably why) but I can sort that out with heels.

Talking of heels, I went shopping yesterday and saw some beautiful sparkly boots in both Topshop and New Look. I was thinking of getting some and then thought 'when am I going to wear glittery boots?' The answer is not very often but I may treat myself to some new heels for my birthday which is in 2 weeks. I am currently searching the internet for an Eternity ring from my boyfriend, I have seen a few I like so I think a shopping trip is in order as you can never tell what rings are really like from product photos.

I am loving leather/pleather trousers/jeggings at the moment. I almost got some in H&M yesterday but they only had a size 6. As much as I wish I could fit into a size 6, I simply can't, so I will have to wait!

OK thats all for now. Planning some new outfit photos tomorrow if the sun is shining!

Lots of love!!

Outfit of theDay

Hello guys, I'm back! I've been a bit lazy recently with my blog but I'm here now so hello! I hope you're all doing well! It's my fave time of here again and I have a few outfit posts that I've missed so I'll post them up over the next few days! Here's the first one!
Jumper : Primark
Fur : Primark
Jeans : Dorothy Perkins
Hat : Ebay
Shoes : H&M

I dug my flares out a few weeks ago to see how they look and I decided I love them so I'll be wearing them quite alot this Winter, they fit perfectly. I love this jumper from Primark, I actually only bought it to get a bag to put my hat in when I was shopping in the summer as it kept almost blowing off and ended up keeping it! It's a lovely colour.

I'll be back tomorrow with another outfit post. I need to get my mum to take some photos of me on the park at the back of my house, it's lovely. xoxo

I dream of the Winter....

So my boyfriend is away with his band in Boston for the next 2 weeks. I'd usually be at his at night so I'm pretty lost without him and this will be the longest we've been apart for 3 and a half years. I'm at home at the moment and rather bored so I thought I'd post a little blog about my fave time of year. WINTER!

I know the majority of people hate Winter. My boyfriend gets annoyed and depressed as soon as the temperature drops slightly. I'm the complete opposite. The other day I swapped over my wardrobe to my Autumn/Winter gear and it's only a few days into September! I've always hated the summer. I hate being hot & I hate wasps & bees. I feel like I can dress so much better in the cold as well... you can't beat a chunky knit cardigan and a big scarf!

Autumn is a stunning time of year, the colours are so gorgeous. Orange is one of my favourite colours anyway. I absolutely love long walks through the Autumn leaves with my boyfriend (although he moans about the cold constantly!) and my doggy. I live near Sherwood Forest so I'm very close to lots of forests, perfect for taking photos of the gorgeous seasonal changes!

Winter can be so magical esp when it snows. It can make even the ugliest of places look like something out of a fairytale. I transform into a big kid when it snows. I put on my hat, fur coat and a big scarf and go out straight away to take photos. There's a park at the back of my house and when it snowed earlier this year, the snow was so heavy it bought down some of the branches of the trees creating a gorgeous archway of amazingness! It was so magical. I took my dog out for a walk, she's fascinated by the snow and ends up with snow on her nose. So cute! I honestly don't know how anyone can look at the snow and not think it's beautiful. One of my favourite things in the world is sunlight on snow esp late in the day when the sun is going down and it gives it a blue tint. Seriously amazing!

As a photographer I'm always after good light for shoots and the Autumn & Winter (when it's not dull) has the most beautiful light for photos by far. The sun is just the right brightness and pretty low so I can get some beautiful light in the background and some gorgeous lens flare. I adore dreamy looking photos and I'm definately going to be planning some shoots for when the leaves turn!

I honestly can't wait for it to get cold so I can wear my new clothes I've bought! Got some lovely things to take photos of! I've also dug out my flares which I'll be wearing this season, they make me look taller which can only be a good thing!

1.9.11

My favourite time of year is almost here. The temperature in England has definitely dropped this last week. I'm not a fan of heat at all so this makes me a very happy bunny! Not to mention I like Autumn/Winter clothes so much more than summer clothes. I find I can look more stylish in the Winter with the layering and big knits! I can't wait to cosy up on the sofa in my big fluffy socks as well! Here's a couple of items I'm lusting after for the new season...

Poncho - H&M £17.99
Jumper - River Island £40
Cardigan - H&M £19.99
Necklace - Topshop £12.50
Trousers - H&M £24.99
Boots - Topshop £80

I just ordered the H&M Poncho, I couldn't resist! I've seen it on a lot of Lookbookers and thought it was awesome. I think it'll be something I live in over the autumn months so expect an outfit post featuring it!

Are you a Winter lover or hater?
