Helsinki Outifts.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had fun celebrating the start of 2013. I spent the end of 2012 in Helsinki, Finland, my favourite city ever, with my mum! It's a magical place and this was my 4th time there, I hope to go back again sometime. Unfortunately it was raining this time and the only snow I saw was on the ground but we still had an awesome time. It amazed me that the local Finns can walk so easily on ice, even in heels, yes heels, without falling over. I opted for biker boots because I'm not Finnish and I'm like Bambi on ice! Finnish girls, tell me, how do you do it?!

I tried to travel light so my outfits included the same fur coat (which I definiately regretted once it started raining!) and boots with a change of jumper (it was pretty cold even though it was above freezing for most of the time, the other times I've been it's been at least -10!) and accessories.

New Years Eve

We went to a gig for New Years Eve and I wore my new sequin skirt which I've wanted for ages with a tee from the mens section of Primark. I wanted to look New Years Eve but also like I was going to a gig. I hate looking the same as everyone else in band tshirts and baggy jeans at gigs, I wish people would put some effort in, just because you like rock music doesn't mean you can't get dressed up!

And now some pretty photos of Helsinki...

I had a fantastic time in Helsinki, I love the place so much, it's a beautiful, quiet, magical place, the locals are so lovely and polite and it's a place I always feel safe in. I would definitely recommend it if you don't mind the cold!

Redrock Fashion

I was recently contacted by the lovely owner of Redrock fashion who asked me if I wanted to do a little feature on the brand. Of course I said yes!

Redrock has been around for about 2 years and already has celeb clients such as Peaches Geldof, Paloma Faith, Elen Rivas, Lauren Pope & Audrey Kitching. You'll also see their clothes on many a fashion blogger. They specialise in vintage and re-worked clothing from the 60's-90's and if you're a vintage fan I think you should check them out as I'm sure you'll find something you'll love.

Here are a few of my fave pieces from their website.

Check out this dress! This is right up my street, tassels are of course amazing and you could really glam up this dress for a night out with some heels and tons of jewellery. Of course it would also look amazing in the summer with some sandals, sunglasses and a cowboy hat!

This jumper really caught my eye. I love the 80's but this also looks modern and not far from what you'd see on the high street. I would wear this with levi's cut offs and black tights or with skinnies and heels. This is also an item you could dress up or down which I love!

How cute is this? I love the colours although I don't think it's something I could wear, I can think of a few people who would look fab in it! Perfect for summer with a cropped denim jacket.

If you want to check out Redrock click here and also like their facebook page here.

Runwaydreamz

I have become a little obsessed with Runwaydreamz shorts, how amazing are they?! They are rather expensive plus $20 shipping from LA but if I had over £100 to spend on a pair of shorts I'd so have some! Check them out here.

I've spent the past 2 nights bleaching, dyeing, studding & ripping my Levi's, I'll show you all the results in a few days! I'm quite pleased with the results!

Hope you're all having a nice week and hello to all my new followers!
