Glitter Knit |
Jumper : M&S Limited Collection
Disco Pants : American Apparel
Boots : Primark
Gilet : Primark
Watcher : Micheal Kors
Jewellery : Spirit Child and Various
I picked up this beautiful sparkly jumper from M&S in the sale reduced from £35 to £17. I really love glittery knit in the winter months, adds a bit of glitz to an everyday outfit. I think I own about 6 jumpers of the glitter knit variety and they are a staple in my winter wardrobe. I have had this gilet for about 6 years but really need to get myself a black one.
Can you believe it is only 28 days until Christmas? This year has gone so fast, can't believe it's Christmas already. Time to put the tree up next week! I have spend my day off wrapping the presents I have so far and writing on cards. I have done well to get 70% of my Christmas shopping done before December this year, I'm usually so late with it.
OK thats all for now!! Until next time...

Biker Coat |
Coat : New Look
Jumper : H&M
Disco Pants : American Apparel
Boots : Primark
Hat : Dorothy Perkins
Last year I got a coat and thought it would last me years with it being from M&S. However it's made of boucle and looks like I've had it 10 years now. So I ordered this lovely one from New Look with a 25% off code making it £37 instead of £50, such a bargain. The coat is such beautiful quality, so soft and looks like it will last years. I love the biker style of it and the silver detail. After seeing these photos I'm a little unsure. As much as I love it I'm unsure on the length, being a midget I think it's too long for me and I'm not keen on the way it looks like it sticks out at the bottom. If it was a few inches shorter it would be perfect which is a shame as it's the best one I've seen in the shops. I did have my eye on the H&M biker coat but since I will have gotten through half of Winter without a coat before it gets delivered (estimated delivery 23-27th December, really?!) I won't be bothering with that one. My jumper was an eBay bargain at £5, despite the fact I ordered it in the wrong size I do love it and it's perfect with disco pants, I'm certainly not brave enough to leave the house with my bottom on show on these beauties! My boots were £18 from Primark, I'm a little in love with them to be honest, they are so comfy and a bit higher than I usually go for so I feel a bit more grown up (which can only be a good thing with me now being 27!!) and hopefully people think I'm at least 21 now instead of 16?!
Hope you are all enjoying the cold weather!
Until next time....

Style Crush - Millie Mackintosh |
I recently came across Millie's blog and spent about an hour browsing her style diary. I have to say although I thought she was stylist on Made In Chelsea I haven't taken much notice of her in the past. I'm glad I came across her style diary, I love her mix of high street and designer items making her outfits accessible to us all. She has the perfect style, she can pull off laid back, dressed up and everything in between. My favourite from the above is the grey fur gilet with the cream blouse and fedora. Check out Millie's blog here

Halloween 2013 |
Halloween is one of my favourite times of year, a chance to unleash my inner goth! This year I had trouble deciding on my costume, I had a couple of ideas but none seemed right until I stumbled upon Lady Gaga in the Born This Way video with Rick Genest. I thought perfect, me and my other half can do that! So we did. I decided to add a top hat and some skeleton tights and sequin shorts so it wasn't exactly the same. We went to see some friends in Oswestry near Wales who were having a Halloween gig for charity, it was a great night.

Fluffy Knit |
Jean : Primark
Top : New Look
Cardigan : Primark
Boots : Customised by me
Necklaces : Spirit Child Jewellery
So I spent today wandering around pet shops trying to find my dog a new bed, wasn't very successful I must say but came away with this cardigan, which wasn't from a pet shop. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to be mine! I wanted the same one last year but it sold out before I had the chance. It's so warm and fluffy, I will probably live in it when it gets colder. They also have it in dark green and burgundy but I thought black would go with everything. May have to nip back for the burgundy one though! The jeans were a bargain at £8, even if they last me one season (which they won't, I've had Primark jeans last me years!) they would still save me a lot of money. I love burgundy at the moment, it's the perfect autumn colour and I'm hoping to get a burgundy fedora at some point.
On to my boots. You may or may not have seen these beauties over at Wild & Free Jewellery. As much as I love them I can't justify £100 plus shipping from America for boots at the moment. So I remembered I have a pair of cowboy boots that never get worn, why not make some myself? I literally cut my boots down the back, folded them over and added lots of broken and worn out belts. I'm yet to stitch up the backs but love how they have turned out so far. Love a good bit of DIY!
I'm off to make myself a cuppa tea and chill with the puppy, until next time! <3

How To Throw A Day Of The Dead Party |
How to throw a Day of the Dead party *
Unless you're a hardcore fan of the year's spookiest festival, chances are you'll be feeling a little jaded by Halloween by the time it actually rolls around. The shops are bursting with witches' hats and false fangs, pumpkins are piling up in the vegetable aisles, and with it all comes the promise of darkness, cold and rain. If you want a more unusual way to get into the magical mood, take inspiration from Mexico's beautifully macabre Dia de los Muertos or 'Day of the Dead'. Running from the 1st to the 2nd November, this annual event puts a positive spin on death, celebrating loved ones who have passed away with parties, food and games.
Dead good decor
Symbolic of the coming afterlife, skulls feature prominently in Day of the Dead celebrations. Whimsical and bright rather than gruesome, you'll find these colourful designs on streamers, masks and other party accessories. Sugar skulls are a central part of the festival, and serve as sweets and decorations, particularly on the altars. Building an altar is one of the most important traditions, so keep your celebrations light by constructing one in honour of a childhood pet, a celebrity or your favourite fictional character. Decorate with flowers such as marigolds, which represent death in Mexican culture, candles, the deceased's favourite foods, and any other serious or silly objects you associate with them.
Thrilling threads
A Halloween fancy dress costume from very.co.uk will work for Day of the Dead, but you can also introduce a Latin theme with colourful skirts and black suits, accessorised with more skulls. Face paint is essential, so have this ready for your guests to apply on arrival. Even a basic skull will look dramatic, but you can try your hand at these stunning designs if you're feeling more artistic.
Mexican munchies
With Halloween taking over the shops, you should have no trouble finding skull-shaped sweets, cakes and treats. For a more filling feast, you can build on the Mexican theme with nachos, burritos and assemble-your-own fajitas. Kitchen whizzes can try out this recipe for traditional pan de muertos, or 'bread of the dead'. As for drinks, keep it traditional with tequila and margaritas, and kids or teetotallers can try these non-alcoholic versions.
Freaky fun
Get your guests in the party mood by playing some Latin music as they arrive. Everyone loves Shakira and Ricky Martin, but for something less obvious a quick perusal of the Billboard Latin Music Chart should lead you to suitable tunes. Once the altar is assembled and your revellers are fed, it's time to try out traditional 'calaveras literarias'. These are humorous poems designed to honour the dead by poking fun at them. Create a few individually or as a group and recite the best to the deceased's altar. In Mexican tradition these light-hearted anecdotes are used to pass family history down through the generations.
Remember that the Day of the Dead is supposed to be a celebration, so whether you go all-out or just use a few ideas, it's all about having as much fun as possible!

Grey Days |
Jumper : H&M
Skirt : H&M
Hat : Dorothy Perkins
Boots : eBay
Jewellery : Spirit Child Jewellery
After a little time away from blogging I'm back! I'm hoping to blog more from now on, I've been so busy recently and find it difficult to take photos in my new house without my mum on hand to take photos but I guess I'll stop being lazy and get the tripod out more often...!
I got this gorgeous jumper from H&M a few weeks ago, it's the perfect item for Autumn and goes with everything. I was attracted to the lace detail, it's so pretty and I love a bit of grey, boring I know. I teamed it with a sequin skirt for a casual night out outfit with these ancient boots I've had years and my trusty rust fedora. As you might notice I dyed my hair red, wanted a change and I needed to cover up a bad ombre DIY job. I like it but it fades very fast!
Until next time!

Dress : c/o Edressy / Picked One
Shoes : New Look
Jewellery : Spirit Child, eBay, holidays.
I was contacted by the lovely people at Edressy a few months ago asking if I would like to have a dress made to my measurements, of course I jumped at the chance! I went for a little black evening dress and its stunning. I'm not sure I'll get an occasion to wear it though unfortunately but you never know! It's nice to have a pretty dress and I felt like a princess in it. The dress is good quality and fits perfectly although I would prefer it if the neckline wasn't so high. The details on the sleeves and across the top is what drew me to this dress. Check out Edressy here for affordable beautiful dresses!

I've been wearing this skirt quite a bit recently as it adds a bit of happiness to a dull day. I love it teamed with leather and a band tee.
Apparently GFC is shutting down, I've only just heard about this and everyone seems to be moving over to Bloglovin' so please re-follow me over there...
Introducing my little baby Dougie. He's a Sprocker Spaniel (half cocker, half springer) and only 10 weeks old. We've had him 3 weeks now and he's a naughty puppy but we love him loads! His favourite thing at the moment is running up and down the stairs and grabbing things from the bin, as you do!

It's a crazy life |
Skirt - H&M
Shirt - Primark
Boots - Topshop
Fur collar - Dorothy Perkins
I have been absent from my blog for a while again due to having a new puppy running around my feet at all times! I managed to get him to sleep for half an hour while I did these photos and he's currently sat between me and the laptop, bless him! I love this skirt but don't get much chance to wear it. I love sequins day and night and I love it worn with this mint shirt. This is what I wore to dinner for a friends birthday.
There are some fab items in the shops for Spring, I have my eye on a few things but I'm trying not to buy too much!
Until next time....

A post that doesn't include Topshop ambush boots, this is an accomplishment! My feet were pretty cold with no socks on but style came first here! Hopefully you can see this jumper a little better here, it's so pretty in real life but it's hard to capture the sparkle on camera.
This was yesterdays outfit, I had a photoshoot with my favourite model in the snow. Every time it snows I really want to do a shoot but everyone is snowed in, so this year I made sure it happened. Really pleased with the photos. Today I spent the day filming a music video for my boyfriend in the snow. It's the first time I've ever done anything with video before but I've started putting it all together and it looks awesome so I'm looking forward to filmimg some more and finishing it! A music video is something I've wanted to do for ages. I'll show you all on here when it's done!
Right thats enough from me today, thanks to everyone who comments on my posts and follows, I really appreciate it!!
